our seaside house was so adorable!
linda puzzled so much.
brittney cooked an amazing breakfast for us one morning.
here is my plate before:
heather made a bagel breakfast burger.
and here is my plate after:
remember the raw&juicy stand with the amazing gluten free sandwich??
here it is!
after a disgustingly intense workout with an obnoxious, stereotypical and overenthusiastic trainer, we biked to raw & juicy for some ultra delicious smoothies!
it eased the pain my nervous system was still suffering from the sound of the trainer woman's voice (you can do it!! i never quit on life and you shouldn't either!!)...
in addition to the smoothies, the wonderful person that runs the stand, cd, is so kind and makes every customer feel welcome.
they also have fresh fruit popsicles. thats a mango-peach.
that is a lemonade:
that was a pineapple:
and onward we biked!
across the bridges and through the quiet truman show neighborhoods!
it was sunny sunny sunny!
brittney and meagan and i walking to the beach:
chairs and umbrellas forever!
and here are my favorite three sisters!
my sister is so beautiful. and check out the new short hair!!
toes on log.
boy beach tackle.
heath and katie:
um, look at my tan line. it's a bit outrageous.
love you, ladies!
our last day on the beach was intense. a storm was rolling in and the waves were mega huge!
we got lots of mid-wave photos.
and i even made it in a few! look at katie looking like she is about to ascend!
i managed to never lose that hat!
afterwards we were seaweed covered, salty, and disoriented!
shortly after this group pic we saw lightning. i realized the number of electronic things (speakers, ipad, cameras, etc) in my bag was not going to cooperate with rain. we raced home and just barely made it in before the rain hit!
it was such a fun way to spend our last beach day!
believe it or not, the rain did clear up in time for group photos on the beach.
i'll share those later, in addition to the souvenir i brought toby...
